The MCA Department was established in the year 1999 with the intake of 30 students. The intake was increased to 60 students from 2001 onwards.
This programme offers a outcome based education by providing number of in-depth core, application and elective courses. The curriculum was designed, based on software industrial technologies and need, by updating the syllabus accordingly.
The department has highly committed faculty members with experienced, to mould the students by imparting knowledge in latest technology.
The department has separate library to give accessibility to the students for reading books and other materials that are available.
The department organizes seminars, workshops and guest lectures for students and faculty to update their skills in software industry notion.
The department allows students to undergo internship apart from regular academic to understand the software industry with real time environment.
Apart from curriculum, by interact with software industrial persons, encouraging the students to participate in extracurricular activities like sports and games , social awareness camps, entrepreneurship and innovation camps, etc.. which would lead the students to improve their overall performance.
