About the Department

The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2012 with a commitment to excel and deliver results with a clear focus. It has an annual intake of 60 and has subsequently increased to 120, besides an additional 20% under lateral entry scheme.

Department is headed by a seasoned academician Dr. Srinivasa Rao Naraganti. He obtained his bachelors degree from National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal. His passion in the field of civil engineering made him to obtain masters degree from Texas Tech University, USA. His global exposure, extensive research capabilities and leadership qualities are certainly helping the students to shape their careers.

The department encourages a symbiosis of Thought, Word and Action through its unique, innovative and career-oriented programmes. The department continuously plans to raise a cadre of exceptional professionals to ensure delivery of excellent skills to the industry they are absorbed in
