Founded in 2001 under the Tamilian Education Academy of Puttur (TEAP), SVPP stands on 25 acres of dedicated campus in Puttur — autonomous, NAAC and NBA accredited, and committed to producing engineers who lead.

Sri Venkatesa Perumal College of Engineering & Technology was established in 2001 by the Tamilian Education Academy of Puttur (TEAP) with one uncompromising conviction: that world-class technical education should be accessible to the students of Rayalaseema without requiring them to leave their roots.
Spread across 25 lush acres at RVS Nagar on the K N Road, Puttur, SVPP has grown from a pioneering idea into a full-spectrum autonomous engineering institution. Today it offers eight B.Tech programmes, PG degrees, and an MBA — all under a self-designed, outcome-based curriculum.
Accredited by NAAC and NBA and approved by AICTE, SVPP is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA). Autonomous status empowers us to design our own syllabi, conduct our own examinations, and respond rapidly to the evolving demands of industry — all while preserving the disciplined, values-centred culture that has defined us for twenty-five years.
