How admission works
Five clear steps from entrance rank to enrolment. Our Admissions Office supports you at every stage.
Five steps to your seat at SVPP.
- 01
Qualify the entrance test
Appear for AP EAPCET (for B.Tech), ECET FDH (for lateral-entry diploma holders into B.Tech II Year), GATE / AP PGECET (for M.Tech), or AP ICET (for MBA/MCA), as applicable to your programme.
- 02
Participate in web counselling (Category-A / Convener seats)
70% of seats in B.Tech and M.Tech are Category-A (Convener) seats filled by the respective Convener through web counselling based on EAPCET / PGECET / GATE ranks and reservation norms. For Polytechnic, candidates can opt for SVPP (POLYCET Code: SVPP) under convener quota after clearing POLYCET.
- 03
Management-quota seats (Category-B)
The remaining 30% seats are Category-B (Management Quota) seats filled by the College Management following guidelines stipulated by APSCHE, Vijayawada, subject to ratification by APSCHE and JNTUA, Anantapur. There are no B-Category seats for lateral entry into II Year B.Tech. A Category-B Application Form is available from the Administrative Office.
- 04
Certificate verification & allotment
Candidates must complete certificate verification during the counselling process. Seat allotment is based on EAPCET/PGECET/GATE/ICET rank, marks in the qualifying examination, and applicable reservation norms.
- 05
Report, pay fees & enrol
Report to the college with all original documents, pay the prescribed tuition fee (as per APHERMC), and complete the admission formalities. Hostel accommodation is available at ₹55,000 per year.
