IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell is the nerve-centre of continuous quality improvement at SVPP — developing systems for conscious, consistent and catalytic growth in institutional performance.
In pursuance of NAAC's action plan for performance evaluation, assessment and accreditation, every accredited institution is required to establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality-sustenance measure. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC forms an integral part of SVPP's system and works toward the realisation of its goals of quality enhancement and sustenance.
The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the institution. During the post-accreditation period, it channels all efforts and measures toward promoting holistic academic excellence.
The IQAC facilitates heightened clarity and focus in institutional functioning, ensures internalisation of the quality culture, coordinates among various activities, provides a sound basis for decision-making, acts as a dynamic system for quality changes in higher education, and builds an organised methodology of documentation and internal communication.
