Right to Information
SVPP upholds transparency and accountability in keeping with the Right to Information Act, 2005 — with designated officers and a clear procedure for all information requests.
An application for obtaining information under the Right to Information Act, 2005 must be made to the Public Information Officer of Sri Venkatesa Perumal College of Engineering & Technology. Applications may be sent by post to the address below or submitted in person at the institution.
The prescribed fee for filing an application is Rs. 10/- by way of bank demand draft, banker's cheque or Indian Postal Order payable to the Principal, SVPP. Online payment is also accepted through NEFT to Union Bank of India, Karvetinagaram, Puttur (Account No. 230912010000474; IFSC: UBIN0823091).
Citizens belonging to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category are exempted from fees — a copy of the BPL card must accompany the application. Appeals may be preferred before the First Appellate Authority against decisions of the Public Information Officer.
